Stone Wall Map
If you didn't know it was here, you'd never see the map of the US in this wall. There . . . now you see California, don't you? And Texas? And Florida? All the continental states are there!
This stone map is one of our few tourist attractions. I think it was built about 40 years ago, but it could've been more. One of my history teachers, Byron Toler, built it along with a lot of other stonework, and also worked with inlaid wood designs.
Haven't talked to a stranger lately, but did give a stranger a gift yesterday. I was at the supermarket and watched the "bag boy" juggling cans of Vienna Sausage. I went to the car and got the official juggling balls Desire2Learn had given away at the technology conference and gave them to the boy. I got the ultimate sign of appreciation . . . "suh-weet!" Made me happy. ;)

About PictureADay
I wanted to write a blog. I found a template that I love! But didn't come up with an idea till the night of September 14, 2009. My goal now is to post a picture with comments every day. On the rare day that I don't take an original picture, I'll post one that I have gotten from somewhere else.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
