I've been in training the past two days with the young man in the picture, David, from Toronto, Canada.  That's only significant because my friend Valerie and I had lunch with him today, but instead of the usual casual conversation that would be quickly forgotten, we talked about very interesting and personal topics.  Somehow, I think maybe he needed to talk to some "mother figures".  I wish him well in his quest.

The second picture is just the "weather fit for a duck" we've had the last two days.
