Two pictures tonight - Halloween is a very big deal in my town, and especially on my street.  See the flashing lights at the end of the street?  That's from one of the several emergency vehicles blocking Moran Avenue to traffic so the kids can safely criss cross from house to house.  It's really a good idea, but a major expense for us that live here. 

Right before the masses arrived, my neighbor across the street came over with a towel to her forhead - covered with blood.  She had fallen and hit her head and came to me to call her son.  She'll be fine after a few stitches, but it was a scary ordeal.  Another reason for someone living alone to wear one of the "I've fallen and can't get up" alarms!
